Media Battle: Let's get along people?! Rant

This is something I had to really get this out of my chest,  I find this to be laughable argument comes from someone I know that's has been sitting here with me for sometime now with the whole mainstream vs. indie medium of both side is just a dumb down argument which I can't stand!  The battle doesn't do good but a continue mess.

When I think of any media I can think of three that comes to my head like Video Games, Filming and Music.  How does do come together? Well none accept that each medium thing is very different on its own way,  For one the Mainstream works with you in its own partnership and doing innovating things in the past they'll hire anyone that's talent enough to bring you up higher with the big boys.  For example I think about video game companies like Sony, they have done interesting concepts and refreshing new games but its what I look about companies like that they bring great things in the table, If it wasn't for Nintendo and Sony! They won't be like they were today.  What I can understand what's the fuzz is indie community arguably consent on how the things presented on mainstream being the evil corporation sort of image (like as Microsoft) get attacked on,  Hell I don't attack the independent side of things but god when it comes to them they have sort of mentality attacking one of the other telling the big you "don't have any originality with the consent sequel they go over that is redundant?!"   Its hilarious to hear people say that they're original for being indie, THAT'S hypocritical for those who say something like that if there game or music isn't groundbreak or original to be revolutionary! that's just a poor piss argument to state to anyone plus calling yourself indie can be a slap in the face within the community, but doing anything unique and new, than yes I can accept that.

I can tell you dam well feel about the college scene which most goes by there own norms and taste, I say is what you are is what you eat,  somehow I don't see diversity in taste of interest!  No way! Hell I don't give a flying fucking if continue that same route and bashing on corps, the music is a business model and same as filming and gaming and the way making it works with music is you have to market yourself out there and make a image for your group/band what the sound is going to be the band its possible you'll get a contact deal with a record company for a label, For each record you do, they will want a good investment back from the artist that's how it works!  SIMPLE!  What I fine with the problem about the does artist is they don't push hard enough to be successful and in this world if that's what your goal is to become a success artist then you have to work hard what you do!  But in your case if you want to work in a hotdog stand, starbuck or an Italian restaurant for the rest of your life,  then by all means its sad see talent being wasted,  Of course not everyone can't really be talented like stars that you see.  I'm sure enough that's a dream fill of wonders for some.   

The bottom line is I love to see more diversity between the two,  I like both and even dough I don't like a lot about of things that goes on nowadays, I look at this in both ways some of corps can be evil with mass of popularity they try to sell you something that you aren't.  Indies I see to be the most intolerant immature hipster thing out to date which I'm so steamed about!

I remember reading in GameInformer July issue that cought my attention a while ago on why there's such a fight between the two.  I agree I can't stand it, I don't know who else agrees on this subject.  I remember reading that there's a game company call "thatgamecompany, yes I'm serious"  that's being funded by Sony and If else I'll wouldn't mind to be my game company being fund by them instead of having to live off by ramon noodle like the rest.
